First information report was lodged against unknown after recovery of a dead body of a young girl. Later on, on the basis of information of the spy, it came to light that the deceased was daughter of petitioner no.1. Petitioner no.1 and petitioner no.2 were arrested and they made their confessional statements. Subsequently thereto, wife of petitioner no.1 was interrogated and she made exculpatory statement before police disclosing the involvement of the petitioners in the present crime. The motive for committing the aforesaid occurrence is said to be bad character of the deceased and except the aforesaid material, there is nothing against the petitioners.
