JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 25-06-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1(i) For issuance of orders/directions or writs in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to refund the forfeited amount to the petitioner with statutory interest consequent upon quashing the letter contained in memo no.1021 dated 22.02.2023 whereby and whereunder the respondent no 5 communicated the petitioner that vide Board Letter-318/Aa0 dated 30.01.1984 allotment of Lohiyanagar, Patna Commercial

Patna High Court CWJC No.8118 of 2023(11) dt.25-06-2024 2/2 Plot No DS/7 has been cancelled and the deposited amount against the plot has been forfeited.

(ii) For issuance of any order (s) / direction (s) or writ (s) to declare that the action of the Respondent Board while passing the order for cancellation of the allotted plot no DS-7 at Lohiyanagar, Patna as void, illegal and invalid as it is in teeth of Section 31 of the Specific Relief Act. (iii) For issuance of order(s) / direction(s) or writ(s) in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay fair and reasonable compensation to the petitioner in pursuant to Section 97 of the Bihar State Housing Board Act, 1982."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievances of the petitioner has been redressed partially, hence for redressal of his remaining grievances, he may be granted liberty to approach the Managing Director, Bihar State Housing Board, Patna. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
