The petitioner seeks bail in Suppi P.S. Case No. 2/2018, instituted for offences under Section(s) 363, 366A and 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 4/8 of POCSO Act.

It is alleged in the written report that daughter of informant was having physical relationship with one Ranjit Sahni for the last one year on the pretext of marriage. It is further alleged that daughter of informant was abducted by this petitioner on 29.10.2018. During search informant learnt that this petitioner has taken her daughter for illegal purpose. The victim on recovery has given statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C., wherein she has stated that she had gone to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32783 of 2019(3) dt.17-07-2019 2/2 the house of her Mausi. The court has assessed the age of victim to be 17 years.

Petitioner is in custody since 24.03.2019.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 1st A.D.J., Sitamarhi, in connection with Suppi P.S. Case No. 2/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
