This application, for grant of regular bail, arises out of Rajapakar Police Station Case No. 104 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

It is alleged that 930 ml. of foreign liquor has been recovered from the bush near the house of Rajeev Ranjan Sharma. The petitioner is in custody since 23.03.2023 and he has three criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case.

Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, let

No.34167 of 2023(2) dt.23-05-2023 2/2 the petitioner, named above, be released on bail after framing of charge on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Court No.-2nd-cum-Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Rajapakar Police Station Case No. 104 of 2023. The petitioner shall mark his presence in Rajapakar Police Station, Vaishali at Hajipur, on 1st Sunday of every month, failing which, the bail bonds of the petitioner would be cancelled.
