The petitioner, Santosh Kumar Singh @ Dehatiya, seeks regular bail in Kadam Kuan P.S. Case No.194 of 2014, registered under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 25(1-B)a, 26 and 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner was apprehended by the police and on search one loaded country made pistol and three live cartridges were recovered from his possession.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than eight months and he has got no criminal antecedent except one case that too was lodged by his agnates on account of land dispute.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has already

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52188 of 2014 (2) dt.07-01-2015 2/2 remained in jail for about eight months, his prayer for bail is allowed.

The petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-IX, Patna in connection with Kadam Kuan P.S. Case No.194 of 2014 (S.T. No. 810 of 2014).
