This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Madya Nisedh (Excise) Police Station Case No. 432 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) & 32(3) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018.

About 242.400 litres of illicit Indian made foreign liquor has been recovered from the vehicle in question. The petitioner is in custody since 29.03.2023 and he has clean antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner and the fact that he has clean antecedent, this application is allowed.
