This application, for grant of regular bail, arises out of Sheohar Police Station Case No. 95 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

It is alleged that 680.115 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the Khalihan of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since16.04.2023 and he has one criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in the present case.

Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing
