The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 22 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 323/34, 341, 342, 376 (AB), 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act. The accusation in the First Information Report is against one Randhir Kumar and the petitioner is sought to be prosecuted in this case because he is the maternal uncle who facilitated the escape of aforesaid Randhir Kumar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner himself was very angry and livid at the conduct of his nephew and he has ensured that Randhir Kumar, the main accused of this case surrenders before the court of law.

Accused Randhir Kumar has now surrendered before the court below.

Considering the period of custody and other facts, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge -VI-cumSpecial Court (POCSO), District - Samastipur, in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 22 of 2020.
