The accusation against the petitioner is that he made attempt to commit rape on the informant but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the informant lodged this false case at the behest of her husband and, as a matter of fact, an altercation took place between the petitioner and husband of the informant and, thereafter, the informant lodged this false case against the petitioner. Moreover, petitioner is in jail custody since 14.05.2015 and the investigation has already been completed.
