The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 307 and other Sections of the IPC.

The informant named Sonu Kumar, the petitioner and Chikky Kumar and alleged that they demanded Rs.4 lacs. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant with rod. Other accused persons are alleged to have assaulted the informant's father and brother.

It is submitted that there is counter version bearing Tarapur P.S. Case No.80 of 2014. The occurrence took place due to flow of water in the drainage. The petitioner is alleged to have given rod blow on the head of the informant, the injury is grievous in nature but there is no repeation of blow. The petitioner is not alleged to have assaulted other members of the informant. Petitioner has also received injury, which is simple in nature. Considering the facts that the petitioner has given single blow to the informant and the dispute took place on account of
