Petitioner is in jail custody since 01.07.2014 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Only one mobile is said to have been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner but the first information report does not reflect that any mobile was snatched. Moreover, the claim of the petitioner is that the recovered mobile belongs to him.
