2. The present petition has been filed for initiating a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for willful

Patna High Court MJC No.980 of 2018 dt.31-07-2019 2/2 disobedience of the judgment of the writ Court dated 28.08.2017 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 2726 of 2008.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners accepts that family pension is now being paid and General Provident Fund and Group Insurance have already been paid by the opposite parties. As such the judgment of the writ court stands complied with.

4. At this stage, an oral submission is made on behalf of the petitioners that there has been considerable delay in payment of the General Provident Fund amount and the petitioners are entitled to statutory interest. A representation in this regard has been filed before the Director, Provident Fund on 22.09.2017 as stated in paragraph-5 of the contempt petition.
