Petitioner being the husband of the victim has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under Sections 498(A) and 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is killing of the daughter of the informant after 7-8 years of marriage.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on conclusion of investigation charge sheet has been submitted under Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code and six witnesses have been examined including the informant but the informant has not supported the prosecution case. Only official witnesses are left to be examined. Other co-accused have already been granted bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3614 of 2016 (2) dt.08-02-2016 2/2 Considering the present stage of the trial, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the earlier order. Accordingly, the same is dismissed. It is expected from the trial court to conclude the trial within a period of four months. If the trial is not concluded within a period of four months then the petitioner will be at liberty to file appropriate application for renewal of bail.

Let the order of this Court be transmitted to the learned court below.
