Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.621 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 34 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 3 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner and other co-accused persons are said to have tortured the victim girl physically and mentally for nonfulfillment of demand of additional dowry. Vide order dated 13.02.2023, the matter was referred to Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Perused the report of the learned Mediator at Flag 'B'. The Mediator has reported that the dispute between the parties has been resolved

Considering the fact that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Judge16-cum-A.C.J.M.-15, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Complaint Case No.621 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
