The petitioner is in custody since 28.08.2015 in connection with Mansoor Chak P.S. Case No.53/2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b) a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though there was recovery of one country made pistol from the possession of the petitioner but there is no independent witness to support the alleged recovery. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 28.08.2015 i.e. for more than five months.
