ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 22-01-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 302, 147, 148,149 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Considering that while on bail, the Petitioner fired at the nephew of the Informant and has thus, misused the privilege of bail, I am not inclined to grant bail to the Petitioner in connection with Barh P.S. Case No. 249 of 2012 pending before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barh, Patna. The Prayer for bail is rejected.

The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial in view of the serious nature of the offence.
