The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Dagarua P.S. Case No. 54 of 2020 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 307, 448, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioners is of having assaulted the informant and others. The informant appears to have received simple injuries, which fact is mentioned in the impugned order. The petitioners are neighbours. The

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32419 of 2020(2) dt.09-02-2021 2/2 dispute arose over construction on a plot of land, which is claimed by the petitioners. There is a counter claim over the said land by the informant.

Considering these aspects of the matter, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea, in connection with Dagarua P.S. Case No. 54 of 2020, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
