2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 112(2) of the BNS, 2023 and Section 10 of Bihar Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.

3. The petitioner is a candidate of the Constable Recruitment Examination and the allegation against him is that in his place, someone else had impersonated and appeared in the said examination.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present allegation arose at the time of the physical examination test, whereas the petitioner had appeared in the written

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 26.12.2024 and sent in judicial custody on 27.12.2024. It is also pointed out that a similarly situated co-accused person, namely, Dheeraj Kumar, who was also a candidate, has been granted the privilege of regular bail vide order dated 12.05.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 18862 of 2025. It is next submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent as mentioned in para 3 of the bail application.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail. 6.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 719 of 2024.
