This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Nanpur Case No. 66 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363/365 of the Indian Penal Code and later on Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code have been added.

I have perused the case diary.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has argued that the petitioner's sister, who is said to have confessed her involvement and involvement of this petitioner in killing of the deceased, has been released on bail under the orders of the Juvenile Justice Board.

On perusal of the case diary, I find that there are enough incriminating material collected in course of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33197 of 2020(6) dt.20-01-2021 2/2 investigation to make out a case that the petitioner was the main assailant. It is a case of honour killing. The petitioner is said to have confessed his involvement in commission of the offence. Considering the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail for the present.

This application is accordingly rejected.

The petitioner shall, however, be at liberty renew his prayer for bail after six months, if, in the meanwhile, charge is not framed.
