The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case under sections 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It is alleged by the wife of the petitioner that the petitioner demanded money and due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, the petitioner subjected her to physical torture. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false and concocted and the petitioner is lying in custody since 01.12.2014.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8896 of 2015 (2) dt.04-03-2015 case and that the petitioner has remained in jail for more than three months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in connection with C.R. case No.288 of 2012/T.R. No. 1972 of 2014.
