JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-07-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That, this petition is for direction to the District Magistrate, Rohtas for final order in Arms License Case No. 84 of 1994 State Versus Ram Krishna Upadhyay in terms of the order of Appellate Authority in Armed Appeal Case No. 155 of 1998 on 27.03.2012 directing to take decision afresh after considering his defence taking note of long pendency of the proceeding as well as the further prayer for extension of benefit as granted to Shesh Nath Pandey moreover on same point as per Clause 4C(1) of Bihar State Litigation Policy, 2011 to maintain equity."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 01.06.2018, passed by the District Magistrate, Rohtas, in Arms Case No.84 of 1994, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
