The petitioner is in custody since 22.12.2021 in connection with Excise Case No. 332 of 2022 arising out of Korma P.S. Case No. 60 of 2021 registered for offences under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. There is recovery of 40 litres of illegal liquor from the personal possession of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner has fifteen antecedents out of which seven cases are of similar nature and also taking into consideration he is in custody since 22.12.2021, he shall be released on bail after framing of charge or on completion of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34386 of 2022(2) dt.20-08-2022 2/2 one and half year in custody whichever is later, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge II, Sheikhpura in connection with Excise Case No. 332 of 2022 arising out of Korma P.S. Case No. 60 of 2021.

The petitioner will visit the concerned Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
