JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-01-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 17.10.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 7,13(2) read with 13(1)(d) of P.C. Act. It is alleged that petitioner being Branch Manager of Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank, Sonbhadra Banshi branch was trapped while accepting the illegal gratification of Rs.1500/- for payment of KCC loan amount.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the investigation has already concluded and cognizance has already been taken.
Learned counsel for the CBI submits that the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.143 of 2015 (3) dt.09-01-2015 2/2 was trapped while accepting the illegal gratification. Considering the fact that investigation has already concluded, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge CBI - I, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 6 of 2014 arising out of R.C. No. 20(A) of 2014-PAT.
