====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-03-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner, who is in custody since 27.11.2018 seeks bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 392 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger.

Without going into the merits of the case taking into consideration the serious nature of allegation made against the petitioner, who is the husband of the deceased, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, considering the period of custody, the court below is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously well within a period of seven months.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44639 of 2021(3) dt.21-03-2022 2/2 The Superintendent of Police, Munger is directed to ensure the presence of all the prosecution witnesses before the trial Court on the date fixed without fail.

If no substantial progress takes place in trial, the petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after seven month.

With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of.
