2. The petitioners, 4 in numbers, who had participated in the interview conducted for engagement as Guest/Part-time Teacher in Botany subject under Lalit Narayan Mithila

2/4 University, Darbhanga on 23.05.2022, in terms of Advertisement No. PTT-01/2021, dated 18.08.2021, issued by the Registrar of the Lalit Narayan Mithila University have filed this writ petition for declaration of the result of the interview conducted by the University.

3. The University has filed counter affidavit through respondent Nos. 1-3, wherein in paragraph No. 6 it has been stated as under:- "...6. That the declaration of result of Guest/Part Time teacher in Botany including the result of the petitioners under L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga for which the applicants participated in the interview which was held on 23.05.2022 in the light of Advt. No. PTT-01/2021 dated 18.08.2021 is pending in the light of the order dated 19.05.2022 passed in CWJC No.

20839.2021 (Shashi Bhushan and Ors. Vrs.

The L.N. Mithila University and Ors.) by which it was directed that "It is made clear that the result shall be declared only after prior permission from this Court..."

4. On perusal of paragraph No. 6 of the counter affidavit filed by the respondent Nos. 1-3 it appears that the result of the interview conducted on 23.05.2022 for Guest/Parttime Teacher in Botany subject, in terms of Advertisement No. PTT-01/2021 dated 18.08.2021, issued by the Registrar of the

3/4 Lalit Narayan Mithila University has not been declared because of pendency of CWJC No. 20839 of 2021 (Shashi Bhushan and Ors. Vrs. The L.N. Mithila University and Ors.), before this Court.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the CWJC No. 20839 of 2021 has been disposed off by this Court by an order and judgment dated 20.07.2023. A copy of the said judgment has also been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners, which is taken on record.

Since CWJC No. 20839 of 2021 has already been disposed off by this Court, reason given in the counter affidavit filed by the respondent Nos. 1-3 for not declaring the result of the interview conducted on 23.05.2022 for engagement of Guest/Part-time Teacher in Botany subject in light of Advertisement No. PTT-01/2021 dated 18.08.2021 issued by the Registrar of the Lalit Narayan Mithila University no longer exists.

7. In that view of the matter, this writ petition is hereby disposed off with a direction to the respondent University (respondent Nos. 1-3) to declare the result of the interview conducted on 23.05.2022 for Guest/Part-time Teacher in Botany subject, in terms of Advertisement No. PTT-01/2021

4/4 dated 18.08.2021, issued by the Registrar of the Lalit Narayan Mithila University within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there is no further legal impediment for declaration of the said result. (Nani Tagia, J) Nishant/- U
