====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 25-10-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 30 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 147, 148323, 324,326,307, 153A, 386, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant has alleged that while he was going to offer 'namaz', the accused persons, armed variously, surrounded him. The further allegation is that they started firing from the top of the house. So far as this petitioner is concerned, the informant has alleged that he opened fire which hit on the chest of Md. Maslehuddin.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though there is allegatiion that the petitioner caused fire arms injury on the chest of the victim but as per injury report, the same was found to be caused by hard and blunt substance. Petitioner is in custody since 22.1.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that the petitioner caused fire arms injury

6. Considering the nature and gravity of allegation and the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
