The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Runnisaidpur P.S. case No. 685 of 2018 registered under Section 307 and other minor Sections of the IPC and u/s 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The informant alleged that her husband and other inlaws were demanding money from her father. On 09.11.2018 her husband along with his brother, sister-in-law, father and others conspired themselves and thereafter her husband came inside the house with sharp edged weapon in his hand and started assaulting the informant. The informant got injuries on different parts of her body and she became unconscious. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is sister-in-law (Gotini) of the informant. The informant did not make any allegation of assault against the petitioner. The informant made specific allegation that her husband assaulted her with Katta, a sharp edged weapon, after confining her in a room, and after receiving injuries she became

It appears that, of course, the informant named the petitioner along with her husband and other in-law but she made specific allegation against her husband, who is alleged to have assaulted the informant with sharp edged weapon after confining her in a room.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest/ surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. case No. 685 of 2018, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
