The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/27/35 of the Arms Act and Section 47(A) of the Excise Act.

From the possession of the petitioner, arms and ammunitions were recovered. It is submitted that the petitioner and his family members have been implicated in the case at the instance of the Chawkidar with whom the petitioner is on litigating terms. There is a land dispute between the parties. The petitioner is an old man, aged about 60 years. The petitioner is in jail since 04.11.2014.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner has remained in jail for about five months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9767 of 2015 (3) dt.02-04-2015 2/2 bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna in Phulwari (Janipur) P.S. Case No. 699/2014.
