JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-01-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being father of the husband of the victim is languishing in custody since 21.11.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 109 and 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing the cousin sister of the informant after five years of marriage for non fulfillment of dowry demands.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim died due to accidental burn injury on account of leakage of domestic gas cylinder. It is further submitted that the accusation is not specific against the petitioner and the informant has retracted from the initial version and has filed a petition to that effect before the learned court below.
