JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 27-03-2017 This petition has been filed in the nature of public interest and the grievance of the petitioner is that financial assistance of diesel subsidy to the farmers is not disbursed in accordance with the requirement of the scheme. Respondent nos.2 to 4 have filed a counter affidavit and in para-7, it is stated that respondent no.2, the Collector, Bhagalpur has already taken initiative to provide amount of diesel subsidy to the farmers concerned and directions have been issued to the Block Development Officer to disburse the diesel subsidy amount.
That being so, the Collector, Bhagalpur is directed to
Patna High Court CWJC No.3696 of 2016 (05) dt.27-03-2017 - 2 - ensure that the directions issued by him is complied in its true letter and spirit and the Block Development Officer would disburse the subsidy amount to the concerned farmers within a time frame, preferably within three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The Collector would supervise and ensure that the subsidies are distributed by the Block Development Officer in accordance with the requirement of the scheme.
With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of.
