1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this application has been filed for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the respondents to grant the disability (board) pension to the petitioner who sustained injury during the course of performing his duty, as a result of which he has lost his hearing power."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances, including approaching the competent

Patna High Court CWJC No.10056 of 2024(2) dt.19-09-2024 2/2 Court of law having appropriate jurisdiction. Liberty so sought is granted.
