JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 13-04-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioners are in jail custody since 15.06.2014 in a case registered under section 420, 363, 366A, 372, 511 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation against the petitioners is that they were carrying the victim on the alleged date of occurrence. The statement of the victim has been recorded under section 164 of the Cr.P.C in which she specifically stated that while she was being carried by the petitioners, the villagers apprehended them as the petitioners wanted to sell her.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1486 of 2015 (4) dt.13-04-2015 2/2 well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional District Judge-IV, Katihar in connection with Balrampur P.S.Case No. 78 of 2014.
