2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 354A/379/307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3,4 and 5 of the Witch Practices Act.

3. Prosecution story in brief is that 17 accused persons including the petitioner armed with lathi, danda and iron rod entered into the house of the informant and assaulted the informant and his family members.

4. Specific allegation of assault has been made against one co-accused Hari Nath, who had assaulted the father of the informant on head and as per the medical report, he sustained grievous injury. Said co-accused and several other accused persons have already been allowed pre-arrest bail by different

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37149 of 2023(2) dt.03-08-2023 2/2 benches of this Court vide order passed in 38947/2021 and other cases. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad in Madanpur Police Station Case No. 108 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
