Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 21.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.52891 of 2017 and again vide order dated 10.10.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.62587of 2018.

There is recovery of 70 kg. of Ganja . Petitioner was arrested at the spot.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody for more than 2 1⁄2 years and no substantive progress has been made in the trial. . Heard learned A.P.P. and perused the report, from which it appears that out of six charge-sheeted witnesses one witness has been examined up till now.

No.38970 of 2019(5) dt.14-08-2019 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of seven months.

At the same time, the S.P., Nawada is directed to produce the witnesses on the date fixed so that the trial may be concluded within the above period.

With the aforesaid direction, this application is dismissed.
