The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Araria P. S. Case No. 451 of 2020 dated 11.06.2020, corresponding to Special Case No. 481 of 2020, instituted for offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears that 17.25 litres of liquor was recovered from a motor-cycle which was being driven by the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32415 of 2020(2) dt.07-12-2020 2/2 that the recovery has been wrongly saddled upon him. The petitioner is in custody since 13.06.2020 and in an earlier case in which he has been made accused, he has been granted bail.

Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge - cum - Special Judge, Araria, in connection with Araria P. S. Case No. 451 of 2020 dated 11.06.2020, corresponding to Special Case No. 481 of 2020.

The petition stands allowed.
