The petitioner seeks bail in Mairwa P.S. Case No.247 of 2020, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police intercepted one Magic Pick-up Van bearing Registration No.BR-28-B-4320 and on search 246 litres of different brands of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered. The petitioner was the driver of the vehicle. It is submitted that neither the vehicle nor the liquor belongs to the petitioner. Petitioner is merely a driver of the vehicle and he has got no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in jail for last more than five months.

Case No.247 of 2020.
