2. The report of the trial court has been received.

3. This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Forest Case No. 19F of 2022 (CIS-F-19/2022- Balmiki Nagar) registered for the offence punishable under Sections 2, 33, 41, 42 of the Indian Forest Act and under Sections 2, 27, 29, 31, 51 of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972.

4. As per the prosecution case, one Sagwan tree was found cut by the miscreants. No one was arrested from the place of occurrence and subsequently, the name of the petitioner has transpired as having participated in the illegal cutting of Sagwan tree.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 11.12.2023 and he is accused in 12 cases.

6. Looking to the nature of allegation as well as the period of custody of the petitioner, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah, in connection with Forest Case No.19F of 2022 (CIS-F19/2022Balmiki Nagar).

8. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall mark his presence in Sahodra Police Station, District- West Champaran on every Sunday of the week. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Guddu/- U T
