JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-11-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends arrest in Jogbani P.S. Case No. 37 of 2021 corresponding to Special Case No. 07 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20, 21-B, 22, 23 of the NDPS Act.

Petitioner's name has figured during course of investigation in confessional statement of co-accused who were apprehended on the spot with contraband brown sugar. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he is no way connected with the aforesaid recovery. Petitioner claims clean antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner mentioned above be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten
