The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No. 293 of 2019, dated 20.08.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The F.I.R. has been registered against unknown.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33432 of 2020(3) dt.29-01-2021 2/3 The name of the petitioner has transpired in this case on the basis of confession of a co-accused person.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the person who has confessed about the participation of the petitioner in the crime has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court. Some of the other accused persons of this case have also been granted bail. It has further been submitted that apart from the confession, there is no other material to connect the petitioner with the offence. Though the petitioner is accused in four other cases about which reference has been made in paragraph 3 of the bail application, but those cases are not of very serious nature.

The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 18.10.2019.

Regard being had to all the above noted facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Addl. Chief Judicial
