The petitioner being the husband of the victim languishing in custody in connection with Kumarkhand (Belari O.P.) P.S. Case No.135 of 2011, pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge (Ad-hoc), II, Madhepura registered for the offences punishable under section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after five years of marriage for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. The report of the Superintendent of Police, Madhepura dated 21.02.2015 reflects that the matter has been posted for final argument.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter is posted for argument but since the court is not available hence the matter is not proceeding. Considering the present stage of the trial, this court is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7604 of 2014 (3) dt.16-09-2015 2/2 not inclined to interfere into the matter.

It is expected from the District Judge, Madhepura to see that the trial be concluded expeditiously preferably within a period of four months.

Accordingly, the application is disposed of.
