====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-03-2022 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioners, learned counsel appearing on behalf of informant and learned A.P.P. for the State.

Both the aforesaid applications arise out of Hasanpur P.S. Case No. 254 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 307, 323, 324, 341, 354, 379,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29731 of 2021(5) dt.07-03-2022 2/2 448, 504, 506 and 302 of Indian Penal Code. Therefore, both the aforesaid applications have been heard together and are being disposed of by this common order.

From perusal of the record, it appears that vide order dated 09.02.2022, a report was called for regarding stage of trial from the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II, Rosera, Samastipur. In compliance of the said order, vide letter No. 28, dated 19.02.2022, it has been reported that the trial is expected to be concluded within six months.

In view of the progress of the trial, which is to be concluded within six months, as stated in the aforesaid letter, considering the aforesaid facts as well as the serious nature of allegation against the petitioners, I am not inclined to release the petitioners on bail, at this stage. Accordingly, the applications for grant of regular bail are stands rejected. It is, however, observed that in case the trial of the petitioners is not concluded in the aforesaid period of six months, the petitioners would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months.
