2. The petitioner has filed the present writ application claiming grant of second MACP, for which, the petitioner has filed representations before the District Magistrate, Nawada, vide Annexures-5 and 7.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner retired as a Revenue Karamchari in the year 2013. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is entitled to

Patna High Court CWJC No.9954 of 2020(2) dt.27-07-2021 2/2 be given the benefits under the MACP but the representations of the petitioner so filed in the year 2016 and 2020 are still pending before the District Magistrate, Nawada.

Learned counsel for the State submits that since the petitioner has already filed the representations, this writ application may be disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Nawada, to decide the claim of the petitioner raised in the representations within a reasonable time frame.

5. In view of the submission made by the parties, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Respondent No. 5 i.e. the Collector/District Officer, Nawada, to dispose of the representations at Annexures-5 and 7 in accordance with law and by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

6. Needless to say that if any amount is found payable to the petitioner, the same shall be paid within a further period of one month from the date of disposal of the representations of the petitioner.
