It is submitted by the counsel for the petitioners that pursuant to the advertisement No. 02/11 published on 16.07.2011, the petitioners appeared in the examination as well as physical test and they have been declared successful also in the physical test. They also secured their names in the provisional merit list. Subsequently, a final block wise merit list of selected applicants of Lakhisarai district was published.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that
Patna High Court CWJC No.9401 of 2025(3) dt.30-06-2025 2/3 prayer has been made by the petitioners that the respondents authorities may be directed to published the district wise final merit list in place of block wise merit list. According to the counsel, similarly situated other persons of district of Bhagalpur who also preferred a writ petition being C.W.J.C. No. 5567 of 2025 which has been disposed of by this Court vide order dated 09.04.2025 giving liberty to the petitioners firstly to make their representations before the concerned respondents and the concerned respondents shall consider and decide the same taking into consideration the observation made by the coordinate Bench of this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 11645 of 2019 and, therefore, it is prayed by the counsel that this petition may also be disposed of in the similar terms as passed by this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 5567 of 2025 in the case of Gopal Kumar Mahto & Anr Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors.
3. Learned counsel for the respondent-State does not oppose the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
4. Considering the above submissions made by the counsel for the petitioners, the petition is disposed of. The petitioners are directed to file their detailed representations before the respondents No. 4 i.e. The District Magistrate, Lakhisarai raising all grounds as raised by them in the present petition along with others grounds, if so advised, within a period
Patna High Court CWJC No.9401 of 2025(3) dt.30-06-2025 3/3 of four weeks from today. In turn, the concerned respondent is also directed to consider and decide the same taking into consideration the observation made by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 11645 of 2019 as early as possible probably within 60 days from the submission of such representations.
5. With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
