====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-11-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.292 of 2013 arising out of Dhanaha P. S. Case No.28 of 1990 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 201 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Considering the gravity of the offence and the long list of the cases as mentioned in Para-3 of the application in which the petitioner has been made accused, I am not inclined to grant him bail for the present, even though he has remained in custody for about 11 years.

The application is accordingly, rejected.

However, the learned 1st Additional Sessions

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38134 of 2019(5) dt.20-11-2019 2/2 Judge, Bagaha, West Champaran is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible preferably within six months from today failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before the court below itself.
