The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "I) For commanding the respondents to take decision on the representation filed by the petitioner and other villagers for upgrading Middle School, Bhikanpur (South), Amarpur, Banka into High School, in view of the policy decision taken by the State of Bihar for upgrading at least one School into a High School in every Panchayat.

II) For setting aside the decision, if any taken by the respondents for upgrading

Patna High Court CWJC No.9960 of 2020(2) dt.05-04-2021 2/2 Middle School, Mahautta in complete violation of the guidelines issued by the respondent Department and consequent upon the same to take decision on the representation filed by the petitioner and other villagers for upgrading Middle School, Bhikhanpur (South), Amarpur, Banka into High School."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be approaching respondent no. 3 i.e. the Director, Secondary Education, Government of Bihar, Patna and he be directed to consider the aforesaid grievances of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders. 3.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 3 and in case, appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today with regard to the aforesaid grievances, the same shall be disposed of within a period of eight weeks thereafter, in accordance with law.
