Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections-272 & 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 47(a) of the Custom Act.
Ten litres of Indian made foreign liquor and five litres bear are said to have been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner, while he was travelling by a bus. Submission on behalf of petitioner is that the abovesaid recovery has not been made from conscious possession of the petitioner and as a matter of fact, the aforesaid recovery was made beneath the seat and the petitioner was found sitting on the aforesaid seat. Accordingly, petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Galgaliya P.S.
