2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Karamchat P.S. Case No. 68/2018 registered for the offences under Sections 467, 409/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is of manipulating a cheque of Rs. 85,000/- by inserting an extra zero and thereby withdrawal of the amount from the accounts of the Laxman Traders.

4. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner

2/4 submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Learned Senior Counsel further submits that the petitioner happens to be the then Branch Manager of the said branch and it has wrongly been alleged that he had made certain manipulations as admittedly the cheque was issued in the name of one Laxman Traders which is a propriety of one Laxman Singh. Learned Senior Counsel has drawn the attention of this Court towards the order dated 18.05.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 19099/2020 whereby the person namely Lakshuman Singh, who had received the said enhanced amount and was the ultimate beneficiary of the said manipulation, had been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedent and is in custody since 19.03.2025.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account that the petitioner was the then Branch Manager of the said Bank and the person who had received the amount in his account

3/4 namely Lakshuman Singh has already been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 18.05.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 19099/2020, let the petitioner above-named be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-VII, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Karamchat P.S. Case No. 68/2018 subject to the conditions :- a. One of the bailors of the petitioner shall be his close relative.

b. The petitioner shall remain physically present in Court on each date of the trial.

c. In case of absence on two consecutive dates or in violation of the terms of the bail, the bail bond of the petitioner will be liable to the cancelled by the court concerned.

d. The Court below shall verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner and in case at any stage it is found that the petitioner has concealed his criminal antecedent, the court

4/4 below shall take step for cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner. However, the acceptance of bail bonds in terms of the afore-mentioned order shall not be delayed for purpose of or in the name of verification.
