Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 630 of 2020 lodged under Section 304(B) of the I.P.C. and Section 3⁄4 of dowry Prohibition Act, As per the prosecution case, the allegation of dowry death is there against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that his antecedent is clean. He is in custody since 21.10.2020, only and only due to the reason that is husband. Charge sheet has already been filed and trial is going on.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44622 of 2021(7) dt.27-09-2022 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that from the order passed by Sessions Judge, Banka, it transpires that the death has been caused due to strangulation.

In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The bail petition of the petitioner is hereby rejected. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial within one year.

With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
