In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Gaunaha P.S. Case No. 122 of 2015 registered for offences under sections 376, 302, 201, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made in the first information report that the daughter of the informant was sexually assaulted and killed.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that in the first information report, the petitioner and his all family members have been made as accused to be involved in that offence and the first information report has been lodged after delay of eight days.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7411 of 2016 (3) dt.11-04-2016 2/2 Prima facie story appears to be absurd as lady members have also been arrayed as accused persons. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah West Champaran in connection with Gaunaha P.S. Case No. 122 of 2015.
