2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No. 148 of 2020 dated 29.04.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

3. The petitioner though has been named in the FIR but with the allegation that he was found running away when 1320 liters of raw spirit was recovered from a Bolero pick-up van.

4. Under similar circumstances, one Lakshan

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37109 of 2024(2) dt.17-05-2024 2/2 Sahani @ Lachhan Sahni has been granted bail by this Court on 10.05.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 32542 of 2024.

5. Regard being had to the period of custody of the petitioner, which is from 24.03.2024 and the fact that another co-accused person with similar allegation has been granted bail, the petitioner also is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 01, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No. 148 of 2020.
